Microblading
Microblading is a manual method where pigment is implanted under the skin. With a small blade I will leave you with natural looking hair strokes. This procedure is considered to be semi-permanent, and requires annual touch ups to maintain the crisp lines of your newly shaped eyebrows.
Microblading can be used to enhance the eyebrows that you already have, or is beneficial for those who are suffering from alopecia, trigonometrical or any other condition that causes hair loss. Microblading does not cause damage to your natural hair and does not require me to remove any hair prior to the service.
The microblading process will last between 2 and 3 hours. We will begin by shaping the brows with a pencil, allowing us to agree on the best shape and size for your face. A color pigment is then chosen to compliment your skin tone and hair color. Once we agree on the color and shape I will apply a topical anesthetic to help minimize any discomfort. Both brows will receive two passes and then require a complementary six week touch up. During this visit I will address any imperfections and refine the shape of your new brows. This is very important for pigment retention and is highly recommended.
Healing time is different for every skin type but is usually around 7 to 10 days. Initially the color will appear very dark and will scab over, but this WILL soften as the healing process continues. It is very important to keep the area clean and dry and out of the sun. To allow for best pigment retention DO NOT pick at the scab and apply proper aftercare ointment.
