Lip blushing is a semi-permanant procedure that enhances the color and shape of your lips. It can also give the impression of more fullness. The procedure is completed by using a cosmetic tattoo machine that inserts pigment into your lips enhancing the lips natural color and outline. This procedure is a great alternative to lip injections and fillers as it can also be used to color correct any uneven pigments in your natural lips. 

 

We start by setting an outline and agreeing on a pigment color. A topical anesthetic will be applied to minimize discomfort and will be reapplied during the procedure. The lip color is layered until coverage and color is achieved, usually 3-5 passes. Clients can expect the procedure to last between 2-3 hours. The healed result will be 50-60% lighter than the immediate effects, and requires a touch up within 6-8 weeks. If properly cared for the enhancement will last 1-3 years. 

 

PRE PROCEDURE:
Do not have sunburned face or tan within the 48 hours prior to your appointment time. 
Do not take NSAIDs (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin, etc…) within the 24 hours before appointment time.
No alcohol or caffeine on the day of procedure.
Limit any physical activity on the day of procedure.
Do no take Arnica before or after procedure if you bruise easily. 

 

HEALING PROCESS:

Swelling subsides within 12-24 hours

Total Healing time 4-5 days

Apply Carmex or A&D ointment regularly until fully healed
